The Master’s Degree Program in International Relations of UNILA offers a set of disciplines that is structured in two axes: (1) mandatory Disciplines and (2) Elective Disciplines.

Mandatory Disciplines

Mandatory disciplines are common to all the students taking the Master’s Degree, whatever line of research is chosen. The objective of these disciplines is to provide the students with solid theoretical and methodological instruments so that they can acquire the tools to develop their research project and their thesis. All the mandatory disciplines are aimed at providing students with a wide theoretical/conceptual/methodological framework so that they can significantly enlarge their critical and analytical capacity regarding a refined understanding of the international reality.

Elective Disciplines

Elective disciplines have the purpose of specializing and qualifying students by approaching and adhering to the different lines of research of the Program.
