Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Latin American Studies (PPGIELA)
he Selection Process for PPG-IELA happens once a year, through the publication of a Selection Public Notice for regular students. For special students, the selection process happens twice a year or once every semester.
The public notices are published between the months of July and August, and the selection process effectively happens between October and December every year.
Selection is based on Lines of Research and it is also necessary for the student to have a letter of acceptance by the professors of the Program indicating their intention to advise the student, besides other documents listed in the public notice.
