CULTURE AND SOCIETY IN LATIN AMERICA
Interdisciplinary studies resulting from the dialogue between the areas of Languages, Arts, History, Anthropology and related disciplines with the goal of contributing to the comprehension of the processes of producing and circulating knowledges aiming at social and cultural mobility in Latin America. The objective of the program is to gather material records regarding collective memory and history in different means; to analyze the processes of circulation in the social, political and cultural fields aiming at questioning categories and fundamentals which have traditionally constituted the fields of knowledge; understand social practices that involve memory networks and their possible processes of transformation, fragmentation and discontinuity.
